Activities
Outdoor Play
Our garden includes equipment learning to climb, balance, run, jump and many more. There is an area where children can plant and grow seeds giving each child the chance to be able to appreciate and look after the environment around them.
Dance
Our weekly dance sessions with Mandy, an enthusiastic and friendly dance instructor, focuses upon a variety of movements enabling the children to move confidently and imaginatively. Dance and movement activities are performed with tapes, stories, music, nursery rhymes and scarves.
Music
Our weekly music sessions focus on singing and listening to a range of different instruments. Our specialist instructor, Harry, brings along different instruments and other props for children to learn and use.
Daily altogether sessions
Our daily altogether sessions include choosing and looking at books. Our circle time includes singing rhymes, sharing and talking about themselves. The children feel more confident to speak out in a group, learn to listen to others and discuss interesting topics.
Outings
Part of our learning includes trips to local libraries, parks, museums, zoos and exhibitions.
